Jill, Jeff's older sister, and Barkley were in town a few weeks back for Jeff and Renae's Baptism. After seeing a few of the recent family stories I'd captured, she asked if I would be able to come spend some time with them over Thanksgiving while I was in Houston to tell their story. We worked it out, and made it happen. I'm so thankful that we did.
Gracie and Caden were adorable! As soon as I met Gracie, she grabbed my hand and said "You're my friend.". Awww, yes, so cute!! We had a great time running around the yard at Grandma's. The kids picked flowers for Mom and Dad, and we were lucky enough to bring the new red couch outside to see what fun we could drum up with it!
Brett came with me too, and took over chasing the kids around the yard while I stole away Mom and Dad for some fun pics of just them. Thank you, Brett!! You're a huge help, and I appreciate it.....very much!! :)
It was awesome to get to see you, Jill, and your family, over the holiday break!! Your story is a beautiful one, and I hope you enjoy it!
