Classy San Diego

I got to Vista with enough time to grab a Starbucks before I met for my first appointment....and once again, I got way too overexcited, when, right across the street, I spotted a bright, shiny, brand new, SONIC!! Woohoo!!

The meeting went great, and as soon as we wrapped up, I knew where I was headed. I pulled in, rolled down the window, and with a big smile on my face, ordered my Route 44 Cherry Limeade and grilled cheese sandwich. I sat parked and ate while I got caught up on a few calls and emails.

I had two more appointments, and finished up today around 6. When I got back to the hotel, I didn't feel like leaving again, so lucky for me, there was a nice restaurant that is part of the place, so I walked down one flight of stairs, and found myself a spot outside.

I sat outside on the balcony, enjoyed the sun setting over the harbor, the conversation of the couple sitting next to me that was entirely too loud to ignore, my margarita and some sliders. All was pleasant, and less than 30 minutes later, I was back in my room, anxiously awaiting for Glee to start.

I'm off tomorrow back home, which I'm thankful for....there really is no place like home, but I gotta say.....I'm rather digging on San Diego. It seems to be a pretty fun, and classy, town, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it on my next trips!
