Sunday in Malibu at Paradise Cove

Brett and I went to the early service on Sunday morning at Reality, so we could meet up with Dave & Dayna for lunch in Malibu that afternoon.

We drove south on the 101 (I'm really putting the direction more in there for me....since I am very directionally challenged, I have been telling Brett where we are going to test what I know) to meet up at Paradise Cove. It's mostly a private beach, but you can get access to it at the restaurant....and when we pulled up, we realized that we weren't the only ones that had that idea. The place was packed, but rightfully so.

We found some seats in the waiting area, took off our shoes, and settled in for the hour wait. I am getting more used to the beach. I never would have considered myself a beach person before....more of a pool person...BUT I am starting to like the feel of the warm sand in my toes. :)

After lunch, we decided to take a walk down the coast (don't ask me which direction it was that we walked....I couldn't tell you). We saved a beached starfish, and I learned how fun it can be to touch the sea urchins. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

If the ocean is on your left hand side, you're going north. If it's on your right hand side, you're going south. If it's behind you, you're going east. If your wet, you just went west.
